Sketchbooks
Line drawing has a close relationship to printing and textiles for me. And whilst drawing is not my primary interest, I have found that by slowing down enough to really observe and look at objects, this pays dividends in all aspects of my work. More recently I have developed a sketchbook style where I create from my imagination as well as rendering images from observational drawing. I find the imagined sketches fun and freeing.
