Print Making
There is a satisfying cross over with textiles where printing can be applied to fabric or incorporated in quilted items, as well as creating printing blocks using fabric and materials for collagraphy.
I am particularly interested in the ‘reveal’ of printing – the moment at which the work pays off and the first print is made. I tend to favour 'lo-fi' printing which can be done without specialist equipment, such as mono-printing, linocuts, potato prints, block and string prints.
