Every item is handmade, primarily using reclaimed or left-over textiles and ‘hand me down’ fabrics rather new bought, and often incorporate discarded clothes. A range of techniques are employed, but in principle my work is influenced by traditional patchwork and quilting, given a contemporary twist.
‘Memory quilts’ are a specialism featuring fabrics which have a nostalgic significance; You provide the clothes or fabrics for a totally unique quilt. This can be extended to cushions or other items for your home and garden space.
Knitted / felted slippers are made from 100% UK-grown wool and make a particularly good present for babies or to keep young children's feet cosy and warm. Also available in all sizes for adults!
